For the 2017/2018 academic year, twelve students were admitted for graduate studies at LPL.
LPL field trip students traveled to the Page region of northern Arizona to obtain a closer look at the Navajo Sandstone Formation, to learn more about their origin, and to discover how they have been modified since the break-up on Pangaea.
The PTYS 554 class (Evolution of Planetary Surfaces) explored the geology of northern Arizona.
Thanks in part to funding provided by the LPL External Board of Advisors, PTYS graduate students traveled to Hawaii to observe near-Earth object 2012 TC4.
The annual Lunar and Planetary Laboratory Conference is an opportunity for LPLers to share their research.
