Sameep Arora

Growing up, Sameep Arora was always fascinated by cars and rockets. As he prepared to attend college, he knew mechanical engineering would allow him to explore his passions fully.

Arora designed the model in SOLIDWORKS, made a simplified model, built subassemblies, met with vendors and machinists, and collaboratively designed the poster with his teammates. Arora also worked to keep communication strong among teammates and with Dr. Vishnu Reddy, their sponsor.

For Arora, the most rewarding part of the experience was taking the telescope from a prototype to physical product.

He looks forward to a career that not only allows him broad options of projects to work on, but also allows him to create technologies that are useful for real people, and contribute to scientific discoveries.
