Adriana Mitchell

Adriana is majoring in Optical Science and Engineering, with minors in Planetary Sciences and Mathematics. The past two years she worked at the National Solar Observatory, analyzing the dynamics of solar polar plumes, and writing software for the Citizen CATE Project. Adriana is working on spectral calibration of ordinary chondrite meteorites to derive the compositions of S-type asteroids in the main belt and near-Earth asteroid population. She is being jointly funded by NASA Spacegrant program and Prof. Reddy’s NASA grants.
