Hitachi Electron Microscopy Scholarship
The Kuiper-Arizona Laboratory for Astromaterials Analysis is pleased to administer the annual Hitachi Scholarship in Electron Microscopy. This scholarship is established by Hitachi High-Technologies as part of their partnership with University of Arizona. Funds in the amount of $5,000 per year have been provided and will be awarded equally to two graduate students generating cutting-edge research and publications in the area of electron microscopy.
College of Science Graduate Excellence Awards
The College of Science each year recognizes students who excel in the categories below. Each department awards their own students in each of these categories; department recipients are eligible to receive the college-wide award for each category.
1. Scholarship: outstanding research publications, presentations at meetings, and scholarships awarded.
Gerard P. Kuiper Memorial Award
The Kuiper Award is presented to students of the planetary sciences who best exemplify, through the high quality of their researches and the excellence of their scholastic achievements, the goals and standards established and maintained by Gerard P. Kuiper, founder of the Lunar and Planetary Laboratory and the Department of Planetary Sciences at the University of Arizona.

1. Personal Statement (1 page)
2. Resume
3. Letter of support from a College of Science faculty member
