August 22 & 23: Lunar and Planetary Laboratory Conference (LPLC)

When

All Day, Aug. 22 to 23, 2024

Where

The Lunar and Planetary Laboratory Conference (LPLC) will be back again this year at the Kuiper Space Sciences building! Following the success of last year’s two-day event, we are excited to offer the same format again this year, featuring a range of talks and posters on various planetary science topics. Presentations from all stages of the research process are encouraged, and the organizers will work to honor attendees' preferred presentation style. We are excited to extend a remote livestream viewing option for the conference this year. The link will be shared regardless of registration.

GSC presentations will once again be featured this year to comply with the new Graduate Student Colloquium requirements. Faculty attendance at student presentations is strongly encouraged to offer feedback. Evaluation forms for GSC posters and talks will be available at the conference. As a reminder, this is the only set opportunity for students to complete their GSC requirements this semester.

All in-person participants, whether presenting or not, must fill out the registration form, which is now open and can be found on the LPLC website. The registration deadline is July 1st, 2024. If you indicate that you plan to present, you will be notified via email when the abstract submission page opens.
